What is it going to come to if we want to take our country back? I only hope it can be done through the legal process and not an armed process…but then again, Obama just said he doesn’t care about process…so that pretty much leaves us with anarchy. A government that doest even follow it’s own laws or constitution.

Thinking about these and other statements made by the man who wears the title of president. I keep wondering what country he believes he’s president of?
In one of my very favorite stories, Edward Everett Hale‘s “The Man without a Country,” a young Army lieutenant named Philip Nolan stands condemned for treason during the Revolutionary War,
“We all declare for liberty; but in using the same word we do not all mean the same thing.

With some the word liberty may mean for each man to do as he pleases with himself, and the product of his labor; while with others, the same word may mean for some men to do was they please with other men, and the product of other men’s labor. Here are two, not only different, but incompatible things, called by the same name–liberty. And it follows that each of the things is, bu the respective parties, called by two different and incompatible names–liberty and tyranny.” — Abraham Lincoln, 1864
We must fight for our ideals and fight to return this country back to it’s founding. Mark Levin spells out our cause with great eloquence. Click and read the epilogue here to get and idea for yourself at what is at stake and then watch this video to see what is happening to our rights right now…
It looks like the people have spoken and Obama and his fellow libs have decided to drop the plan to nationalize our health insurance.
WASHINGTON – Bowing to Republican pressure and an uneasy public, President Barack Obama‘s administration signaled Sunday it is ready to abandon the idea of giving Americans the option of government-run insurance as part of a new health care system.
Facing mounting opposition to the overhaul, administration officials left open the chance for a compromise with Republicans that would include health insurance cooperatives instead of a government-run plan. Such a concession probably would enrage Obama’s liberal supporters but could deliver a much-needed victory on a top domestic priority opposed by GOP lawmakers.
Officials from both political parties reached across the aisle in an effort
It is a joke when people try to argue that Obama and the Democrat’s plan to take over our health care will not eliminate private insurance, just give another option. They have been saying for years that they want “universal health care” and a “single payer government” system. There is not doubt that if they pass this legislation, it will be the end of America having the best health care in the world.
As Obama tries to take over and destroy the best health care system in the world, he hasn’t even read the bill he is saying we have to pass now or else…. Doesn’t it scare you that the one forcing this through our government doesn’t even know what it says? Didn’t anyone ever tell him you are not supposed to even sign a home loan document without reading it or anything for that matter much less a document to change the entire country as we know it? The end is near I am afraid….No! We must stand up and fight this redicuouse take over of our country! Call your congressmen! Write them, tell your neighbors, become educated on the real issues!
With the public’s trust in his handling of health care tanking (50%-44% of Americans disapprove), the White House has launched a new phase of its strategy designed to pass Obamacare: all Obama, all the time. As part of that effort, Obama hosted a conference call with leftist bloggers urging them to pressure Congress to pass his health plan as soon as possible.
During the call, a blogger from Maine said he kept running into an Investors Business Daily article that claimed Section 102 of the House health legislation would outlaw private insurance. He asked: “Is this true? Will people be able to keep their insurance and will insurers be able to write new policies even though H.R. 3200 is passed?†President Obama replied: “You know, I have to say that I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about.†(quote begins at 17:10)
This is a truly disturbing admission by the President, especially considering that later in the call, Obama promises yet again: “If you have health insurance, and you like it, and you have a doctor that you like, then you can keep it. Period.†How can Obama keep making this promise if he is not familiar with the health legislation that is being written in Congress? Details matter.
It seems that the Czar of Science for Obama (can you believe we actually have Czars in our country?) Stated in a textbook he co-authored 1977 that he thinks we have to control populations or people will have a poor quality of life and will die from so called global warming. I think Obama’s real vision is to control the population, literally (see link below) and by making the government take over every part of your life.

The network plans a primetime special -- 'Prescription for America' -- originating from the East Room, exclude opposing voices on the debate.

Late Monday night, Republican National Committee Chief of Staff Ken McKay fired off a complaint to the head of ABCNEWS:
Dear Mr. Westin:
As the national debate on health care reform intensifies, I am deeply concerned and
Today, Obama released details on his $3.4 trillion budget plan…and then says…
“We can no longer afford to spend as if deficits don’t matter and waste is not our problem…we can no longer afford to leave the hard choices for the next budget, the next administration — or the next generation.” – Obama
Budget Table
Is he crazy? Or maybe just really smart that he thinks he can fool America into thinking that cutting a little from a huge increase somehow entitles you to say your are cutting the budget? I don’t think so. We thought Bush was over spending (can we say “medicare part D”?) when the deficit was $459 billion. Obama is now going to almost quadruple triple the deficit to approximately $1.8 trillion and then cut it by 12 billion…hum…that is an increase of 392% and then a decrease of 6.6% for a net INCREASE of 385.4%. Since when can you talk about not spending because of the burden of deficit for our children when you increase the deficit yourself by almost 400%!
I think this is the epitome of a contradiction and just a flat out lie. This President just says stuff that sounds good, even to conservatives from time to time, but what he does is completely the opposite. This is the “Change” that was coming.
I must be naive. I really thought the administration would welcome the return of bank bailout money. Some $340 million in TARP cash flowed back this week from four small banks in Louisiana, New York, Indiana and California. This isn’t much when we routinely talk in trillions, but clearly that money has not been wasted or otherwise sunk down Wall Street’s black hole. So why no cheering as the cash comes back?
My answer: The government wants to control the banks, just as it now controls GM and Chrysler, and will surely control the health industry in the not-too-distant future. Keeping them TARP-stuffed is the key to control. And for this intensely political president, mere influence is not enough. The White House wants to tell ‘em what to do. Control. Direct. Command.
Let me be very clear on the economics of President Obama’s State of the Union speech and his budget.
He is declaring war on investors, entrepreneurs, small businesses, large corporations, and private-equity and venture-capital funds.
That is the meaning of his anti-growth tax-hike proposals, which make absolutely no sense at all — either for this recession or from the standpoint of expanding our economy’s long-run potential to grow.
Raising the marginal tax rate on successful earners, capital, dividends, and all the private funds is a function of Obama’s left-wing social vision, and a repudiation of his economic-recovery statements. Ditto for his sweeping government-planning-and-spending program, which will wind up raising federal outlays as a share of GDP to at least 30 percent, if not more, over the next 10 years.
So how much will President Barack Obama’s budget cost us? The projected 2010 budget of $3.552 trillion can be found on page 114 of the “New Era of Responsibility” budget here.
The US Census bureau estimates that the current US population is 304,059,724. Dividing the $3.552 trillion by that gives us close to the $11,833 that Drudge came up with. ABC’s Jake Tapper reports that there wil be $989 billion in new taxes over the next decade.
I’m an American taxpayer and the starkest figure is what this could cost me. The latest figure I could find for the number of US taxpayers is 138,893,908 returns in 2007 here. By my reckoning, that’s $25, 573.48 each.
Flabbergasted that our country is about to sign itself away from freedom and prosperity to debt and slavery, ($800,000,000,000+ spending bill) I just did some quick calculations. Do you realize how big a bill this is? Do you realize the amount of money our Democratic senators and President Obama (“The One”) are campaigning to stick each one of us with? Every single US taxpayer will owe the government $5800 to pay for this bill! This is the biggest waste of money I have heard of in a long time. Lets just go over some numbers:
For ease of figuring, lets round the false “Stimulus Bill” to $800 Billion (that’s $800,000,000,000 so you can see how big it really is again)
-Size of Bill: $800,000,000,000
-US Population: 303,000,000 people
-US Tax Paying Population: 138,000,000 people
Supposedly, this is to stimulate the economy and create jobs for those loosing them right?
-Total unemployed in the US is about 10,000,000 (Latest numbers say 7.2%)
-Total Jobs lost in 2008: 2,590,000
If we gave the $800 billion to businesses to create jobs (tax breaks) that would be enough money to create jobs for every single unemployed person in the United states with a $80,000 paying job.
-or-
If we want an even more startling proposal. Going right back to where we were at the start of 2008, we could just put back to work every single person who lost their job in ’08 (about 2.5million people). Using the same money, we could create a $308,000 job for each one!!!
Now, how in heaven’s name can we be talking about spending $800,000 billion dollars and no one really knows how many jobs will be created?
