Obama finally releases birth certificate….or does he? God is in control…

Posted by on Apr 27, 2011 in Politics | 0 comments

“Daniel answered and said: ”Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might. He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding;” - Daniel 2:20-21 (ESV)

Wow…so President Obama finally releases his birth certificate…I just don’t understand why he didn’t before. But wait… look at the background on the left side…it stays straight while it appears the grid of the document curves on a page. So this begs the question…is it real? I don’t want to jump to conclusions…but when I scan a document from a book, everything on a curve is curved…. obamalongformbirthcert

It almost appears like it was scanned without a transparent background (or edited to be that way) and then the edited version placed right on the hatched background image.

The bottom line is the birth certificate is now public. We hope and pray it is real of course and our own president would not falsify information, but with things that look funny like above…there are still questions. The issue will live on I am afraid, but no matter the real truth, our job is to move forward, knowing that God is in control of all issues, including who our president is in America. We must pray for our leaders and when we don’t agree with them, vote them out at the next election!

Here is the official PDF version of the above picture from the White House website.

Obama Take Notice

Posted by on Mar 31, 2010 in Politics | 0 comments

President Obama, take notice that we are tired of what you are doing to our country. We are tired of you changing our country from a free republic to a socialistic state of tyranny. Take notice that come November we will remove control of the house and senate from your party’s hands. Come Election Day, November 2012, take notice that your presidency will come to and end. Elections are coming; conservatives are going to take our country back!

* This was written by Sherry Hackett, Buddy Hackett’s widow.
* “WE NOTICED”

President Obama:

Today I read of your administrations’ plan to re-define September 11 as a National Service Day. Sir, it’s time we had a talk.

During your campaign, Americans watched as you made a mockery of our tradition of standing and crossing your heart when the Pledge of Allegiance was spoken.. You, out of four people on the stage, were the only one not honoring our tradition.

YES, “We noticed.”

During one of your many speeches, Americans heard you say that you
intended to visit all 57 states.

We all know that Islam, not America has 57 states.

YES, “We noticed.”

When President Bush leaned over at Ground Zero and gently placed a
flower on the memorial, while you nonchalantly tossed your flower onto the pile without leaning over.

YES, “We noticed.”

Every time you apologized to other countries for America’s position on
an issue we have wondered why you don’t share our pride in this great
country.. When you have heard foreign leaders berate our country and our beliefs, you have not defended us. In fact, you insulted the British Crown beyond belief. And, you even bowed before the Saudi king

YES, “We noticed.”

When your pastor of 20 years “God-damned America ” and said that 9/11 was ” America ‘s chickens coming home to roost” and you denied having heard recriminations of that nature, we wondered how that could
be, after attending that church for 20 years. You later disassociated yourself from that church and Pastor Wright because it was politically expedient to do so.

YES, “We noticed.”

When you announced that you would transform America, we wondered why. With all her faults, America is the greatest country on earth.
Sir, KEEP THIS IN MIND, “if not for America and the people who built
her, you wouldn’t be sitting in the White House now.” Prior to your
election to the highest office in this Country, you were a senator from
Illinois and from what we can glean from the records available, not a
very remarkable one.

YES, “We noticed.”

All through your campaign and even now, you have surrounded yourself with individuals who are basically unqualified for the positions for which you appointed them. Worse than that, the majority of them are people who, like you, bear no special allegiance, respect, or affection for this country and her traditions.

YES, “We noticed.”

You are almost 15 months into your term and every morning millions of
Americans wake up to a new horror heaped on us by you. You seek to
saddle working Americans with a health care/insurance reform package that, along with cap and trade, will bankrupt this nation.

YES, “We noticed.”

We seek, by protesting, to let our representatives know that we are not in favor of these crippling expenditures, and we are labeled
“un-American”,”racist”, “mob”. We wonder how we are supposed to let
you know how frustrated we are. You have attempted to make our protests seem isolated and insignificant. Until your appointment, Americans had the right to speak out.

YES, “We noticed.”

On September 11, 2001 there were no Republicans or Democrats, only
Americans. And we all grieved together and helped each other in
whatever way we could. The attack on 9/11 was carried out because we are Americans.

And YES, “We noticed.”

There were many of us who prayed that as a black president you could
help unite this nation. In your short tenure in office you have done more to destroy this nation than the attack on 9/11. You have failed us.

YES, “We noticed.”

September 11 is a day of remembrance for all Americans. You
propose to make 9/11 a “National Service Day”. While we know that you don’t share our reverence for 9/11, we pray that history will report your proposal as what it is, a disgrace.

YES, “We noticed.”

You have made a mockery of our Constitution and the office that you hold. You have embarrassed and slighted us in foreign visits and policy.

YES, “We noticed.”

When you denied a military flyover at the annual “God and Country” rally in Idaho, where new military recruits were inducted, and all military were honored, that was the first time in 42 years that a military flyover did not occur. When the organizers contacted the Pentagon to ask why this was not allowed, they were told that it was because the event was of a “Christian nature”.

Yes, we noticed.

We have noticed all these things. We will deal with you. When Americans
come together again, it will be to remove you from office.

Take notice.

20 Ways ObamaCare Will Take Away Our Freedoms

Posted by on Mar 23, 2010 in Politics | 1 comment

Now that ObamaCare as been signed into law by Obama himself, we are left to try to decode the details of the bill and find out just how many freedoms are taken away from us. Of course many States are filing lawsuits for the constitutional rights of the people being violated, but with so many leftists on the Court…we will see how far that goes…

20 Ways ObamaCare Will Take Away Our Freedoms

By David Hogberg Sun., March 21, ’10 3:24 PM ET
With House Democrats poised to pass the Senate health care bill with some reconciliation changes later today, it is worthwhile to take a comprehensive look at the freedoms we will lose.
Of course, the overhaul is supposed to provide us with security. But it will result in skyrocketing insurance costs and physicians leaving the field in droves, making it harder to afford and find medical care. We may be about to live Benjamin Franklin’s adage, “People willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both.”
The sections described below are taken from HR 3590 as agreed to by the Senate and from the reconciliation bill as displayed by the Rules Committee.
1. You are young and don’t want health insurance? You are starting up a small business and need to minimize expenses, and one way to do that is to forego health insurance? Tough. You have to pay $750 annually for the “privilege.” (Section 1501)
2. You are young and healthy and want to pay for insurance that reflects that status? Tough. You’ll have to pay for premiums that cover not only you, but also the guy who smokes three packs a day, drink a gallon of whiskey and eats chicken fat off the floor. That’s because insurance companies will no longer be able to underwrite on the basis of a person’s health status. (Section 2701).
3. You would like to pay less in premiums by buying insurance with lifetime or annual limits on coverage? Tough. Health insurers will no longer be able to offer such policies, even if that is what customers prefer. (Section 2711).
4. Think you’d like a policy that is cheaper because it doesn’t cover preventive care or requires cost-sharing for such care? Tough. Health insurers will no longer be able to offer policies that do not cover preventive services or offer them with cost-sharing, even if that’s what the customer wants. (Section 2712).
5. You are an employer and you would like to offer coverage that doesn’t allow your employees’ slacker children to stay on the policy until age 26? Tough. (Section 2714).
6. You must buy a policy that covers ambulatory patient services, emergency services, hospitalization, maternity and newborn care, mental health and substance use disorder services, including behavioral health treatment; prescription drugs; rehabilitative and habilitative services and devices; laboratory services; preventive and wellness services; chronic disease management; and pediatric services, including oral and vision care.
You’re a single guy without children? Tough, your policy must cover pediatric services. You’re a woman who can’t have children? Tough, your policy must cover maternity services. You’re a teetotaler? Tough, your policy must cover substance abuse treatment. (Add your own violation of personal freedom here.) (Section 1302).
7. Do you want a plan with lots of cost-sharing and low premiums? Well, the best you can do is a “Bronze plan,” which has benefits that provide benefits that are actuarially equivalent to 60% of the full actuarial value of the benefits provided under the plan. Anything lower than that, tough. (Section 1302 (d) (1) (A))
8. You are an employer in the small-group insurance market and you’d like to offer policies with deductibles higher than $2,000 for individuals and $4,000 for families? Tough. (Section 1302 (c) (2) (A).
9. If you are a large employer (defined as at least 50 employees) and you do not want to provide health insurance to your employee, then you will pay a $750 fine per employee (It could be $2,000 to $3,000 under the reconciliation changes). Think you know how to better spend that money? Tough. (Section 1513).
10. You are an employer who offers health flexible spending arrangements and your employees want to deduct more than $2,500 from their salaries for it? Sorry, can’t do that. (Section 9005 (i)).
11. If you are a physician and you don’t want the government looking over your shoulder? Tough. The Secretary of Health and Human Services is authorized to use your claims data to issue you reports that measure the resources you use, provide information on the quality of care you provide, and compare the resources you use to those used by other physicians. Of course, this will all be just for informational purposes. It’s not like the government will ever use it to intervene in your practice and patients’ care. Of course not. (Section 3003 (i))
12. If you are a physician and you want to own your own hospital, you must be an owner and have a “Medicare provider agreement” by Feb. 1, 2010. (Dec. 31, 2010 in the reconciliation changes.) If you didn’t have those by then, you are out of luck. (Section 6001 (i) (1) (A))
13. If you are a physician owner and you want to expand your hospital? Well, you can’t (Section 6001 (i) (1) (B). Unless, it is located in a country where, over the last five years, population growth has been 150% of what it has been in the state (Section 6601 (i) (3) ( E)). And then you cannot increase your capacity by more than 200% (Section 6001 (i) (3) (C)).
14. You are a health insurer and you want to raise premiums to meet costs? Well, if that increase is deemed “unreasonable” by the Secretary of Health and Human Services it will be subject to review and can be denied. (Section 1003)
15. The government will extract a fee of $2.3 billion annually from the pharmaceutical industry. If you are a pharmaceutical company what you will pay depends on the ratio of the number of brand-name drugs you sell to the total number of brand-name drugs sold in the U.S. So, if you sell 10% of the brand-name drugs in the U.S., what you pay will be 10% multiplied by $2.3 billion, or $230,000,000. (Under reconciliation, it starts at $2.55 billion, jumps to $3 billion in 2012, then to $3.5 billion in 2017 and $4.2 billion in 2018, before settling at $2.8 billion in 2019 (Section 1404)). Think you, as a pharmaceutical executive, know how to better use that money, say for research and development? Tough. (Section 9008 (b)).
16. The government will extract a fee of $2 billion annually from medical device makers. If you are a medical device maker what you will pay depends on your share of medical device sales in the U.S. So, if you sell 10% of the medical devices in the U.S., what you pay will be 10% multiplied by $2 billion, or $200,000,000. Think you, as a medical device maker, know how to better use that money, say for R&D? Tough. (Section 9009 (b)).
The reconciliation package turns that into a 2.9% excise tax for medical device makers. Think you, as a medical device maker, know how to better use that money, say for research and development? Tough. (Section 1405).
17. The government will extract a fee of $6.7 billion annually from insurance companies. If you are an insurer, what you will pay depends on your share of net premiums plus 200% of your administrative costs. So, if your net premiums and administrative costs are equal to 10% of the total, you will pay 10% of $6.7 billion, or $670,000,000. In the reconciliation bill, the fee will start at $8 billion in 2014, $11.3 billion in 2015, $1.9 billion in 2017, and $14.3 billion in 2018 (Section 1406).Think you, as an insurance executive, know how to better spend that money? Tough.(Section 9010 (b) (1) (A and B).)
18. If an insurance company board or its stockholders think the CEO is worth more than $500,000 in deferred compensation? Tough.(Section 9014).
19. You will have to pay an additional 0.5% payroll tax on any dollar you make over $250,000 if you file a joint return and $200,000 if you file an individual return. What? You think you know how to spend the money you earned better than the government? Tough. (Section 9015).
That amount will rise to a 3.8% tax if reconciliation passes. It will also apply to investment income, estates, and trusts. You think you know how to spend the money you earned better than the government? Like you need to ask. (Section 1402).
20. If you go for cosmetic surgery, you will pay an additional 5% tax on the cost of the procedure. Think you know how to spend that money you earned better than the government? Tough. (Section 9017).

Petition to Obama to Stop RECONCILIATION on this Health Care Bill

Posted by on Mar 18, 2010 in Politics | 0 comments

Say NO to President Obama on Health Care

President Obama has turned up the heat. He’s pushing Congress to pass a dangerous, pro-abortion health care plan that most Americans simply don’t want. The President is calling on Congress to use a one-sided, partisan-controlled legislative maneuver called “reconciliation” to force this flawed health care plan through — and he wants it to happen NOW.

It’s time to put a stop to this legislative fast-track. Stand with the American Center for Law and Justice and tell the President and Congress NO reconciliation. NO abortion funding for health care. NO government-run programs. Please read the form below carefully and declare your membership with the ACLJ by adding your name to our Petition to Stop Reconciliation.

PETITION TO STOP RECONCILIATION

TO:
President of the United States, Barack Obama
Senator Christopher Bond
Senator Claire McCaskill
Representative Roy Blunt

A clear majority of the American people do not support the health care reform proposals now under consideration in Congress. To continue to push against the will of the people, and now with absolute disregard for legislative process and procedure, raises serious constitutional concerns.

We urge you to act in accordance with the law of the land, follow the legislative dictates of our Constitution, and hear the voice of the citizens of America who strongly oppose a government takeover of health care and taxpayer dollars used to fund abortions.

It’s time to take the kind of action that the American people are demanding and deserve: Stop reconciliation and start over on health care. Give us a plan that’s effective, affordable, and protects life.

What is it going to come to if we want to take our country back? I only hope it can be done through the legal process and not an armed process…but then again, Obama just said he doesn’t care about process…so that pretty much leaves us with anarchy. Real Reason for Copenhagen Summit

Posted by on Dec 15, 2009 in Politics | 0 comments

“…developing countries walked out in protest over the lack of progress on their demand for legally binding emissions targets from rich nations.” This is the real reason for the Copenhagen “summit,” – forge laws unchangeable by our congress, president or people to take $ from “rich” countries (a.k.a USA, UK, etc…) and re-distribute to poor countries…not by charitable giving or assistance mind you, but by binding law in everything we produce.

There are many kinds of truth. Al Gore was poleaxed by an inconvenient one yesterday.

The former US Vice-President, who became an unlikely figurehead for the green movement after narrating the Oscar-winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth, became entangled in a new climate change “spin” row.

Mr Gore, speaking at the Copenhagen climate change summit, stated the latest research showed that the Arctic could be completely ice-free in five years.

In his speech, Mr Gore told the conference: “These figures are fresh. Some of the models suggest to Dr [Wieslav] Maslowski that there is a 75 per cent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during the summer months,

The Mule…

Curtis &Leroy saw an ad in the Starkville Daily News Newspaper in Starkville, MS. and bought a mule for $100.

The farmer agreed to deliver the mule the next day.

The next morning the farmer drove up and said, “Sorry, fellows, I have some bad news, the mule died last night.”

Curtis &Leroy replied, “Well, then just give us our money back.”

The farmer said, “Can’t do that. I went and spent it already.”

They said, “OK then, just bring us the dead mule.”

The farmer asked, “What in the world ya’ll gonna do with a dead mule?”

Curtis said, “We gonna raffle him off.”

The farmer said, “You can’t raffle off a dead mule!”

Leroy said, “We shore can! Heck, we don’t hafta tell nobody he’s dead!”

A couple of weeks later, the farmer ran into Curtis &Leroy at the Piggly Wiggly grocery store and asked.

“What’d you fellers ever do with that dead mule?”

They said,”We raffled him off like we said we wuz gonna do.”
Leroy said,”Shucks, we sold 500 tickets fer two dollars apiece and made a profit of $898.”

The farmer said,”My Lord, didn’t anyone complain?”

Curtis said, “Well, the feller who won got upset. So we gave him his two dollars back.”

Curtis and Leroy now work for the government.

They’re overseeing Healthcare reform.

Limit all US politicians to two terms.
One in office
One in prison
Illinois already does this!

The president without a country

By Pat Boone

-”We’re no longer a Christian nation.” – President Barack Obama, June 2007
-”America has been arrogant.” – President Barack Obama
-”After 9/11, America didn’t always live up to her ideals.”- President Barack Obama
-”You might say that America is a Muslim nation.”- President Barack Obama, Egypt 2009
Thinking about these and other statements made by the man who wears the title of president. I keep wondering what country he believes he’s president of?

In one of my very favorite stories, Edward Everett Hale‘s “The Man without a Country,” a young Army lieutenant named Philip Nolan stands condemned for treason during the Revolutionary War,

50 Reasons Why This Bill To Takover Our Healthcare Is Bad

Posted by on Aug 16, 2009 in Politics | 0 comments

If you thought nationalized healthcare was bad for America before you knew what was in the bill, it is even worse than you thought now that we are beginning to know what it actually includes. Is this the change you wanted for yourself? your family? Do you really want the Government deciding what is best for you and your family? Speak Out America and Do It NOW!

Obama Health Care Logo 1

Eerily like the Nazi logo...

1) Pg 22 mandates that the Government will audit books of ALL EMPLOYERS that self insure. So every employer in the United States will be subjected to a health insurance audit just as all taxpayers are subject to audit. Of course, we will have to pay for an entire new bureaucracy to do this–the Internal Health Revenue Service?

2) Pg 30, Sec 123 states that there will be a government committee that decides what treatments you are allowed and what your overall benefits are.

3) Pg 29, lines 4-16 basically mandates the rationing of health care as is being done in Canada .

4) Pg 42 recognizes the power of the Health Choices Commissioner to determine your health benefits. You will have no choice.

5) PG 50, section 152 states that free, taxpayer-paid health care will be given to the 30 million non-citizens in the USA , even illegal aliens.

6) Pg 58 states that government will have possession of all your health care records & history including finances and you will have to have a National ID Healthcard.

7) Pg 59, lines 21-24 gives direct access to your banks accounts to compel you to pay any out-of-pocket or premium costs electronically without your previous consent.

8) PG 65, sec 164 provides for a political payoff from the Democrats and Obama; a special subsidized plan for retirees and their families in unions community groups like ACORN.

The Tiny Cabin

Posted by on Aug 10, 2009 in Politics | 0 comments

cabin_winter
A government worker from a big City in Massachusetts recently transferred to the Mountains of North Carolina and Georgia and was on the first tour of her new territory when she came upon the tiniest cabin she had ever seen in her life.

Intrigued, she went up and knocked on the door.. “Anybody home?” she asked.

“Yep,” came a kid’s voice through the door.

“Is your father there?” asked the social worker.

“Pa? Nope, he left afore Ma came in,” said the kid.

“Well, is your mother there?” persisted the social worker.

“Ma? Nope, she left just afore I got here,” said the kid.

“But,” protested the social worker, “are you never together as a family?”

“Sure, but not here,” said the kid through the door. “This is the outhouse!”
